Jennifer Walker - Girls Basketball Director, Girls AAU Coach


Coach Jenn has earned a reputation as one of the best Girls Basketball Coaches in the area.  With an approach that motivates young athletes to want more basketball, Coach Jenn has demonstrated that there can be a balance between teaching basketball, having fun, and being successful.  As the Girls Basketball Director, Coach Jenn has emphasized the And One philosophy that improving as a player and developing character is greater than the trophy for winning tournaments at the youth level.  This approach has enabled the girls program to flourish.  In addition to coaching on the AAU level, Jenn oversees the development of our girl players involved in our clinics.


Mike Fess - AAU Coach, Skill Development Trainer

Head Boys Coach - Caldwell High School


Coach Fess currently is the head boys basketball coach at Caldwell High School.  Prior to Caldwell, Coach Fess has built championship teams and programs as head coach at West Orange High School and Montclair Immaculate High School.  Coach He is one of the most successful active coaches in Essex County amassing over 300 career wins as a head coach during his decorated career.  Along the way coach Fess is known for his fundamental driven approach as well as his excellent rapport with athletes.


Scott Cohen -  AAU Coach, Boys K - 3 Supervisor


Coach Scott Cohen brings over 12 years of coaching experience to AND ONE. As a varsity assistant on the girls side, Coach Cohen was instrumental in leading the Livingston High School girls team in the early 2000’s to the final four of the Essex County Tournament. His role on that team was influential in the development of many of the top players from that squad. After giving up high school coaching, Coach Cohen dedicated the last 3 years to individual skill development in small group and personal basketball training. In this role, he continues to focus on fundamental skill training which is the foundation to a players success. Coach currently serves as an AAU coach and Travel Basketball coach locally.


Dave Mead - AAU Coach, Winter Boys Basketball Director

Head Girls Coach - Mount St. Dominic Academy

Coach Mead brings over 18 years of coaching experience to And One. Coach Mead is recognized in Northern New Jersey as one of the game's most knowledgeable sources and has had a tremendous rapport with all of the athletes he has worked with. In 2010, in leading Boonton High School to their most successful season in school history, Mead was named the Morris County Coach of the Year by the Morris Daily Record. Coach Mead’s experience includes:

  • Varsity Head Coach - Mt. St. Dominic Academy


Coach Mead is currently the head girls varsity coach at Mount St. Dominic Academy.


John Waddon - Coach, Clinician, Winter Recreation Director


Coach Waddon brings nearly 30 years of experience to the And One Team. In the mid-eighties Coach Waddon was the head boys basketball coach at Livingston High School where he gained a still present reputation amongst his peers as one of the best “x’s and o’s” coaches around. Always well prepared and detail oriented, Coach Waddon is an exceptional motivator for the youth level. His overall experience includes:

  • Director of Basketball Instruction – Hanover Township
  • Head Coach of both Middle School and Travel level teams
  • Director of Youth Basketball in both Whippany and Livingston

​​​David Cohen - Program Director, Boys and Girls AAU Coach, Director of Skill Development

Head Boys Coach - Livingston High School


Coach Cohen brings the unique balance of decorated player and accomplished coach to youth basketball.

As a player, Cohen was a member of the United States Youth Games Team. From there he continued his career at Montclair Immaculate Conception where he scored over 1200 points, and was a 2 time Star Ledger All Essex County performer, as well as 2 time Colonial Hills Conference Player of the Year.  In 2010, Coach Cohen was inducted into the Montclair Immaculate Hall of Fame for his athletic accomplishments.

Following high school, Coach Cohen was a 4 year starter for Division III national power Virginia Wesleyan University. During his collegiate career, Cohen amassed over 350 assists which ranks 3rd All Time for career assists at the University.

For the past 20 years, Cohen has been coaching on both the Boys and Girls Varsity level in New Jersey with stops at the Montclair Kimberley Academy, Cedar Grove, and Livingston High School. In 2012, Cohen guided the Varsity boys basketball team to their first conference championship in 30 years.  3 years later, Coach Cohen led the girls basketball program to their first conference championship in 20 years.  Currently Coach Cohen is the head boys basketball coach at Livingston High School.

Coach Cohen’s coaching philosophy focuses on building a foundation of superior confidence through repetition and practice. With confidence and commitment, the sky is the limit.  With a track record of success, Coach Cohen implements and preaches all of the characteristics needed for young athletes to succeed.  


​​Buddy Wolfe - AAU Coach, Camps and Clinic Supervisor

Head Girls Coach - Livingston High School


Coach Buddy has been an instrumental part of youth basketball development  in Essex County for the past decade.  In working with young athletes from grades K through High School, coach Buddy demonstrates a superior ability to coach and train to the level he is working with.  As head coach of the Livingston High School Girls Basketball coaching staff, Buddy has successfully been influential in molding high school players to become college basketball players.  Along the way, Buddy was part of the coaching staff that helped the girls program capture their first conference championship in over 20 years in 2015.  Buddy serves as the supervisor for our clinics, as well as a Coach for our AAU program.


Brian Cohen -AAU Coach


Coach Cohen’s brings energy and passion for the game to the And One Basketball Club. With a wide range of experience that includes 16 years on the high school level, 4 years as a student assistant on the Division I Collegiate level, and over a decade as a youth coach, Coach Cohen is more than qualified to direct players on the youth level on improving their game. Coach Cohen’s resume includes:

  • Assistant Varsity/JV Coach at West Orange High School
  • Assistant Coach – Montclair Immaculate High School
  • Student Assistant Coach – University of Rhode Island (under Al Skinner currently at Boston College)
  • Director of Youth Basketball – Livingston Recreation


Chris Belcuore - Coach, Clinician


Coach Belcuore brings exceptional leadership and motivational skills to AND ONE. After being a standout varsity 3 sport high school athlete at Livingston High School in the late 80’s, Belcuore was inducted to the Livingston High School Athletic Hall of Fame for his accomplishments this past fall.

Following high school, Coach Belcuore continued to Montclair State University where he was a 4 year starter on the football team. Belcuore is now an educator in the Newark Public School System which has enabled him to get involved as a coach. Besides coaching the AAU teams, Coach Belcuore runs a basketball recreational league for girls during the winter.
